Cloud Browser Setup
Complete guide to RelayKit's Cloud Browser — launch remote browser sessions, solve CAPTCHAs automatically, run AI-powered tasks, take screenshots, extract content, and build persistent online personas.
Overview
The Cloud Browser gives you a fully remote browser instance running in the cloud. It opens in a new tab where you can browse interactively — just like a regular browser, but running from a clean cloud environment with your RelayKit proxy attached.
Every session includes:
- Ad Blocking — Built-in ad blocker for cleaner browsing
- Popup Blocking — No annoying popups or interstitials
- Session Recording — Every session is recorded as video for later review
- 30 Minute Sessions — Each session runs for up to 30 minutes
- 5 Minute Idle Timeout — Inactive sessions auto-close to save credits
Pricing
Cloud Browser uses a pay-per-use model — you're only charged for what you use. Funds are deducted from your account balance when you launch a session or use a tool.

Launching a Session
Naming Sessions
Session naming helps you organize your work, especially when building online personas. You can name a session at launch or rename it later from the Active Sessions list.
A good naming convention matches across all your RelayKit services:
- Proxy: "Instagram - John Smith"
- Browser Session: "Instagram - John Smith"
- Phone Number: "Instagram - John Smith"
This way, when you see a session in your history, you immediately know what persona and platform it was for. You can rename any session at any time by clicking the Rename button.
CAPTCHA Solver
When enabled, the cloud browser will automatically detect and solve CAPTCHAs as you browse — including reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha, FunCaptcha, and Cloudflare Turnstile challenges.
This is particularly useful for:
- Account creation — Sign up on sites without manually solving puzzles
- Social media verification — Get past login challenges
- AI Tasks — Let the AI agent browse without getting stuck on CAPTCHAs
- Web scraping — Automate data extraction without interruptions
Extra Stealth Mode
Extra Stealth activates advanced anti-detection measures that make the cloud browser appear as a regular user's browser. This spoofs browser fingerprints, WebGL data, Canvas, AudioContext, and other signals that websites use to detect automated browsing.
Recommended when:
- Creating accounts on platforms with strict bot detection
- Managing multiple personas that need to appear as different users
- Accessing anti-bot protected sites (e.g., sneaker sites, ticketing platforms)
Session Recordings
Every browser session is automatically recorded as an MP4 video. This captures everything that happens in the browser during your session, at no extra cost.
To view recordings:
Recordings are useful for:
- Reviewing AI task results — See exactly what the agent did
- Debugging issues — Replay what happened when something went wrong
- Training & documentation — Show team members how processes work
- Compliance & proof — Keep records of automated actions
Screenshots
Take high-quality screenshots of any webpage. You can capture a specific URL or take a screenshot of the current page in an active session.
Use cases:
- Monitoring — Take periodic screenshots to track page changes
- Evidence collection — Capture page state for records
- Visual verification — Check that an AI task completed correctly
Page Content Extraction
Extract any webpage's content as clean, structured markdown. The browser renders the page fully (including JavaScript), then extracts the text content — perfect for AI processing, data analysis, or archiving.
Unlike basic web scrapers, this renders JavaScript first — so it works with SPAs, dynamic pages, and sites that load content asynchronously.
AI Automated Tasks
The most powerful feature — describe a task in plain English and an AI browser agent will complete it autonomously. The agent can navigate pages, click buttons, fill forms, extract data, and handle multi-step workflows.
How It Works
Example Tasks
"Go to bbc.com, find the top 3 trending news articles, and summarize each one in 2 sentences."
"Go to the contact form on example.com/contact, fill in name 'John Smith', email 'john@example.com', message 'Hello, I would like more information.' Then submit."
"Go to the Amazon bestsellers page for electronics, and list the top 10 products with name, price, and rating."
Building Personas
One of the most powerful use cases for the Cloud Browser is building and maintaining online personas. By combining named sessions, proxies, and phone numbers, you can create fully isolated digital identities.
Setting Up a Persona
Naming Convention
Keep names consistent across all services:
# Recommended format: Platform - Full Name Instagram - John Smith Twitter - Jane Doe LinkedIn - Alex Johnson TikTok - Sarah Williams
Session History
All your past sessions are saved in the Session History section. Click "Show History" to view your last 50 sessions, including:
- Session name — The name you gave the session
- Status — Active or ended
- Proxy used — Which proxy was attached
- Add-ons — CAPTCHA solver, stealth mode badges
- Amount charged — How much the session cost
- Date — When the session was created
You can also access session recordings from the history view — click the "Recordings" button on any past session to watch or download the video.
Tips & Best Practices
Getting the Most Out of Sessions
- Name everything — Name sessions, proxies, and numbers consistently for easy tracking.
- Use CAPTCHA solver proactively — If you think a site might have CAPTCHAs, enable it upfront. It's cheaper than starting over.
- Enable Extra Stealth for sensitive sites — Social media, e-commerce, and financial sites often use fingerprinting.
- Don't let sessions idle — Sessions auto-close after 5 minutes of inactivity. Open your browser tab and interact regularly.
- Use AI tasks for repetitive work — Instead of manually clicking through 10 pages, describe what you need and let the AI do it.
Saving Money
- Screenshots are cheap — At $0.05 each, use them freely for monitoring and verification.
- Batch AI tasks — Describe multi-step workflows in a single task rather than running multiple small ones.
- Check recordings before re-running — If a task failed, watch the recording to understand why before spending another $0.15.
- Close sessions when done — Don't leave sessions running if you're not using them.
Troubleshooting
- "Insufficient balance" — Add funds to your account balance before launching sessions.
- "Proxy not connected" — Go to My Proxies and connect your proxy to a location first.
- Session won't open — Make sure popups are allowed for RelayKit in your browser settings.
- AI task returned unexpected results — Be more specific in your prompt. Include exact URLs, element descriptions, and expected output format.
- CAPTCHA still appearing — Some very new CAPTCHA types may take a moment to solve. The solver runs automatically in the background.
